Biography

Jeff Fassett has always been interested in photography, and in his first career he always admired those who were able to make a job out of doing something they loved. He started spending all his spare time and money on photography. Finally, he decided to leave the corporate world and return to school at the Brooks Institute of Photography. He got into weddings slowly, starting out with friends, and found that he really enjoyed the work and thrived in the fast-paced action of the day.

Now photographing weddings is the primary focus of his business, Fassett Photography, based in Camarillo, CA. Jeff truly loves shooting weddings, and you can really feel this passion when you work with him. He has an easy going personality and will help you have fun and stay relaxed through the wedding day. But he is very serious about his work and constantly thrives to do the very best job he can for his clients.

Jeff thought he knew a lot about weddings…until he got married himself! Now he sees things from a new perspective – on the other side of the camera. This experience has helped him to better appreciate what brides and grooms go through from the marriage proposal, to the planning of the wedding, the events of the wedding day, and then finally seeing the finished pictures.

Aside from wedding photography, Jeff also enjoys travel photography and on-location portraiture. His hobbies include collecting old LP records, playing with his dogs, wine tasting in the Santa Ynez valley, traveling, reading, and learning new things about Photoshop. He lives in Camarillo with his bride Rebeca, their dogs Bella and Guapo, and their cat Oliver.
